Tooth replacement

The crown that completes your implant.

An implant has two parts: a titanium post that replaces the tooth's root, and the crown you see and chew with. A trusted specialist places the post — we plan your treatment and restore it with a custom crown.

Highlights

What you can
expect.

For patients across Chandler, AZ and the East Valley, a dental implant is the most natural-feeling way to replace a missing tooth. We start with a treatment plan in our Chandler office and refer you to a trusted specialist to place the implant post. Once it has healed, you come back to us for the custom crown that completes it — with a team that already knows your history.

Treatments

Treatment options
we offer.

Option 01

Implant treatment planning

We look at your bite, your gums, and the space to fill, explain whether an implant is right for you, and map out every step before you're referred for placement.

Option 02

Referral for implant placement

A trusted specialist places the titanium post that replaces the root. We send along your records and plan, so you don't have to start over.

Option 03

Your implant crown

Once the implant has healed, we record its position and our dental lab makes a custom crown shade-matched to your teeth. About two weeks later, we secure it in place.

Implant posts are placed by an outside specialist we refer you to. Your implant crown is provided by our general dentists, not by board-certified dental specialists.

Questions

Common questions.

How is an implant crown different from a regular crown?
A regular crown fits over your own tooth after we reshape it. An implant crown has no natural tooth underneath — it's secured to the implant post through a small connector called an abutment. It can't get a cavity, but the gum around it still needs daily brushing and flossing to stay healthy.
How long does the whole process take?
After the specialist places your implant, it usually needs three to six months to bond with the bone. Once it has healed, your crown takes about two weeks: we record the implant's position, our outside lab makes the crown, and you come back to have it placed.
