My name is Aliegha Ashby. I am a dental assistant who has the pleasure of working with AZ Family Dentistry. I wanted to work in the dental field to help people improve their oral health and restore confidence in themselves. After all, the most powerful social tool we have is our smile. I also love to connect with people and this field allows me to develop an ongoing relationship with our patients and their families. One of many reasons I love working here is because it is a small, family-oriented business where the doctors show daily that they truly care about their patients and employees. Not only do they hold us accountable in growing our dental knowledge, but they challenge us to excel in our careers, and hold everyone to a high standard, unlike any place I’ve ever seen before. I’m truly blessed to be able to leave work smiling every day. It’s pretty easy to be this happy knowing that our patients are being cared for by the best dental team in all of Arizona! 

My name is Hy and I am originally from Vietnam. I am fluent in both English and Vietnamese. I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from Northern Arizona University in 2021. Working as a professional who focuses on preventative care, I strive to increase oral health awareness by educating patients and promoting good oral care habits. I hope to use my knowledge and skills to help the underserved populations in the U.S and other countries in the future. 

I like hiking, camping, and exploring the nature. Visiting more national parks is on my to-do list! I also enjoy watching videos on YouTube. My goal is to listen to more podcasts and audio books!

 Hi everyone! My name is Lauren and I am so excited to start my journey this year as a dental assistant and front desk receptionist here at Az Family Dentistry! A little about me is that I am a recent graduate from American Institute of Dental Assisting with also an associate degree from CGCC. What drew me into dentistry was because I enjoy helping others and want to make a positive impact on people's health and well-being. Being in this profession, I have the opportunity to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds, and to provide a range of services, from routine check-ups and cleanings to more complex procedures like fillings and crowns. While dental assisting is a fulfilling and rewarding career, it is also important to have hobbies and interests outside of work. For me, baking is a beloved pastime that provides both relaxation and a creative outlet. I’m so happy to be a part of this team and ready for this new experience! 

Kimberly, our Registered Dental Hygienist, who brings an enthusiastic and passionate outlook to your dental care.

She is originally from Southern California and has been in Arizona for the past 10 years. She is a mom to two busy teenage boys. Winter is her favorite time of year. She spends a lot of time in the mountains snowing boarding with her family.

She enjoys meeting and interacting with new people, especially her patients, while presenting a confident, reassuring and caring professional attitude.She has the clinical experience and up to date skills including anesthesia and laser. Her background includes, having been a medic in the Army, a firefighter, and a paramedic. She has a proven record of successfully dealing with difficult and timely situations as a medical professional.
